1. Project /Client Background:
THE MINI INTERNATIONAL combines the innovative instincts of a newspaper and the visual appeal of a magazine. THE MINI INTERNATIONAL explores below the surface of today's mobile society to find the most intriguing stories from MINI life, MINI culture and MINI design, and provides a platform for cosmopolitan lifestyles, high culture and street culture, and all the goings on in the MINI world.
2. Project Research & Analysis:
· The layout is not flowing
· The typeface treatment used for the subheading is not suitable
· Heading if the magazine have not fixed well, so the heading is clashing the “Design” section
· The typeface treated for the caption is not well done
· Grid system is not used well

Creative people with Urban Lifestyle, who like art, design, fashion, music, culture and event.

Project Description:
1. Project /Client Background:
SCI Print is Asia's premier institute for prepress technology education, opening up avenues for you to secure a rewarding, professional career in commercial print. More than this, though, SCI Print is also your vehicle for skills upgrading as IT continues to change the face of the printing industry.
2. Project Research & Analysis:
- Nameplate and Masthead: Thenameplate is not balance in left, with logo look style, so that it is not easy to be recognized
- Teaser: The teaser or table of contents is not attractive enough
- Body Text: The body text is not well designed, especially, there are widows at the end of some paragraph
- Picture: There are too many pictures in the front page
- Caption: Some captions of the photo are missing.

The communication theme is all about print technology. The mood will be technology kind of layout with CMY color to represent basic color in printing.

To redesign the nameplate and overall layout, color of the newsletter, so the visual look of the newsletter will be more impressive and left a memory with the new branding of the company for the readers.
